AI Assurance: Reflections, Insights, and Readiness for 2026

AI Assurance: Reflections, Insights, and Readiness for 2026

On 19th November 2025, we hosted our last community meet up of the year and over 100+ AI assurance and industry practitioners joined us to reflect, share, and prepare for challenges and opportunities coming up in 2026.

Fourtitude.asia  and Dynamo AI shared their insights from their real-world testing journey as part of the Global AI Assurance Sandbox

Jason Lee (Group head of technology strategy, Fourtitude.asia)
Daniel Ross (Head of Compliance Strategy, Dynamo AI) and Geok Leng Tan (Chairman, Fourtitude.asia)

Use case: Customer service GenAI RAG chatbot

Risks tested: Hallucination, data disclosure, undesirable content, vulnerability to adversarial prompts and other key custom risks such as religious sensitivities, royalty related sensitivities, political sensitivities, and racial sensitivities.

Insight: We can’t “copy-paste”guardrails. Tailoring input and output of Guardrails based on context is important.

Speakers: April Chin (Co-CEO, Resaro), Dr Vaikkunth Mugunthan (Co-founder & CEO, Dynamo AI), Dr Yifan Jia (Founder & CEO, AIDX TECH), Wan Sie Lee (Executive Director, AI Verify Foundation)

Our speakers tackled the following topics:

What key governance risks do enterprises care about?

What technical tests can be conducted to assess AI systems’ output vis-à-vis these risks?

What are the key challenges in AI testing – datasets, metrics, evaluators?

What’s coming up in 2026? We shared a sneak preview of IMDA’s Policy on “Agentic AI guidance”

The objective of this upcoming guideline is to help organisations ensure human accountability and better manage risks of AI agents, even as best practices continue to evolve.

The scope of the guideline:

  • Establishing an organisational structure to identify and address risks
  • Enabling meaningful human oversight
  • Facilitating trusted development and deployment
  • Supporting end-user responsibility

Thank you to our community for showing up and bringing best practices of AI testing to your organisations. Let’s meet again in 2026 and continue to leverage the collective wisdom of the community gained through real-world testing and governance journeys, and share practical insights to help organisations deploy GenAI systems at scale confidently.
